Freud Squad

The Freud Squad have been entertaining audiences at parties, weddings, festivals and fundraisers for over 20 years with their popular collection of jazz vocal standards and Latin favourites. The name came from the pair of psychiatrists who first put the group together for a hospital party. Today there are 2 doctors involved, including one with a PhD in jazz.
The focus is on everybody enjoying swinging grooves and some modern arrangements of classic favourites. As an eight-piece ensemble, including some multi-instrumentalists, the Freud Squad have enjoyed playing at the Warwick JJJ Festival in public and private functions since the festival began in 2004, on the Street Stage, Jazz in the Park, the RSL, Condamine Sports Club, Horse & Jockey Hotel, Bellevue Café, Glengallen Homestead, Art Gallery and other venues around town.
