This creative and energetic team of volunteers have been working together since 2014 to produce unique large-scale yarn art installations that wow festival visitors each year. Knitters and crocheters from all over Australia and beyond are invited to join in the fun via regular team newsletters. Our local team members enjoy getting together regularly to assemble and install the creations.
From 18 – 28 July this year, the team’s “Yarnival ” installation can be viewed at the St Marks’ church Precinct . This collaborative large-scale installation is inspired by vintage fairgrounds, carnivals and circuses, showcasing delightful yarn creations in a colourful and enchanting display. The Yarntopians invite visitors on a nostalgic journey filled with wonder and handmade artistry.
Crafters of all skill levels are invited to be involved! Click on the links below to find out more.
