Slips & The F.W.’s are an eclectic collection of musicians from Gold Coast, Brisbane and Toowoomba who love to reignite the spark and charm of Early Blues, Traditional Jazz and Ragtime tunes from the 1900’s to 1930’s. Taking influences from Clarence Williams, Blind Boy Fuller and Spencer Williams to name a few, Slips & The F.W.’s thrive on performing classic numbers and originals in their own unique way bringing a taste of New Orleans wherever they may roam.

Formed by former Dracula’s long time Guitarist and Musical Director ‘David Kume’, Slips & The F.W.’s have gradually accumulated musicians to their act featuring members of the Dracula’s cast/crew from past to present featuring:
Performing in iconic venues, events and festivals around South East Queensland such as The Tivoli, Princess Theatre, Dust Temple, Miami Marketta, Eat Street Northshore, live on ABC Gold Coast Radio, Blues On Broadbeach Festival, SWELL Sculpture Festival and many more, no venue/event is too big or too small for Slips & The F.W.’s to spread their good old fashioned toe tappin’ cheer
