The St Mary’s College Showband began exploring the vibrant traditions of New Orleans brass band music several years ago and has since embraced every opportunity to perform in public spaces, bringing energy, rhythm, and community spirit to the streets.

The ensemble is conducted by renowned Toowoomba brass specialist, Mr Rhys Keane.
The Showband’s repertoire spans traditional jazz, funk, rock, and contemporary pop covers, showcasing versatility and musical talent. Their performances reflect a dynamic fusion of classic and modern influences, engaging audiences of all ages.

Established in 1899, St Mary’s College has a proud tradition of fostering excellence in the creative arts and maintaining strong ties with the Toowoomba community. St Mary’s College Toowoomba is a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition, catering to boys in Years 5 to 12.
